Welcome to Tranquil Escapes Maldives! We are excited to help you plan your dream Maldivian vacation. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking any tour or service with us. These terms govern your use of our website and your booking with Tranquil Escapes Maldives. 

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By booking a tour or service with Tranquil Escapes Maldives, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  Please ensure that you understand and accept them before proceeding with your booking.

  
2. Booking and Payment
Booking: To secure your tour or service, a non-refundable deposit of [insert percentage]% of the total tour price is required. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your tour start date.

Payment Methods: We accept the following payment methods:

Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
Bank Transfers (details provided upon request)
PayPal (details provided upon request)

Confirmation: Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send you a confirmation email outlining your tour details. Please review it carefully and inform us immediately of any errors.

3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Customer: 

Cancellations must be made in writing and will be subject to the following fees:

Cancellation before 10 days before the tour: 10% of the total price.
Cancellation between 0 and 30 days before the tour:  5% of the total price.
Cancellation less than 30 days before the tour: fully-refundable.

Cancellation by Tranquil Escapes Maldives: We reserve the right to cancel a tour in exceptional circumstances such as natural disasters, political instability, or unforeseen events. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative tour date.

4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical expenses, cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances. This will protect you against potential financial losses. 

5.  Tour Information
Itinerary: We strive to provide accurate tour itineraries, but we reserve the right to make changes due to unforeseen circumstances. Any necessary changes will be communicated to you in advance.
Accommodation:  Details of your accommodation will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.  
Activities: We will provide details of activities, including any necessary equipment or clothing requirements.
Dietary Requirements: Please notify us in advance of any dietary requirements so we can accommodate your needs.
Health & Safety: It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically fit to participate in the tour. We recommend that you consult your doctor before traveling if you have any health concerns.

6.  Responsibility and Liability
Tranquil Escapes Maldives acts as an intermediary for the services provided by third-party suppliers, including hotels, airlines, transportation companies, and local operators. We take all reasonable care in selecting our suppliers, but we are not responsible for any acts or omissions of these third parties.  We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that you may sustain during your tour, unless caused by our negligence. however, we will fully assist in the recovery of your losses with local authorities.

7. Complaints
If you have any complaints during your tour, please bring them to the attention of our tour guide or representative immediately.  We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly. If you are unable to resolve the issue on-site, you must submit your complaint in writing as soon as possible before your tour completion.  

8. Privacy
We will only use your personal information for the purposes of arranging and managing your tour.  We will not share your information with any third parties without your consent. For further information on our privacy policy, please refer to our website.  

9.  Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Maldives.  Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.  Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately.

11.  Return Policy  
Refunds:  We do not offer refunds for tours or services that have already commenced.
Exceptions: Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances such as:

Tour cancellation by Tranquil Escapes Maldives due to unforeseen events.
Medical emergencies preventing participation in the tour, with appropriate documentation.
Change of itinerary or accommodation due to unforeseen circumstances outside our control.
